Jan Kalfus

Jan Kalfus (* 1956), professor of the Organ music on the Prague Conservatory, is also the laureate of the Prague Spring 1984 Organ competition. He has given concertos in the most of the European countries as well as in the U.S.A. He uses to co-operate with famous orchestras (for ex. Czech Philharmonic or Prague Symphony Orchestra), choirs (Bambini di Praga) and soloists (Roman Janál). In his concerts he prefers to play Czech composers from early baroque to the contemporary ones.
