Michal Pavel Vojta

Michal Pavel Vojta was born in 1965 in Brno, where he studied singing individually with V. Babák. Between he continued in his studies from 1990 to 1993 in Konservatorium Wien University with Waldemar Kment and Gerd Nienstedt, he was member of State Opera of Wien and he performed as guest on Salcburk festival. He was soloist of South Bohemian Theatre in České Budějovice and Prague State Opera. Nowadays, he is regular guest in The Silesian Theatre Opava and he performs as guest in many theatres. He also performs in many concerts in big concert halls in whole Europe. In 2004, he was nominated on Thalia price for his Pollion in Norma (opera from Vincenzo Bellini). In 2005 he received Opavian Thalia price for his Prince in opera Rusalka.
