Michal Novenko

Michal Novenko (* 1962) is fully respected Czech organist, well known not only because of the very authentic interpretation of baroque and pre-classical music or his own compositions, but also as a very efficient improviser. Since 1986 he is a professor of Prague Conservatory. He has given concerts not only in great European organ festivals, but also in U.S.A., Mexico, South Africa, and Israel. His discography includes early music (Frescobaldi, Czech masters etc.), Bach, Mendelssohn, Liszt, Franck, and also his own improvisations. As a composer he has written chamber and orchestral music, organ works and sacred music.
