Soprano Martina Cafourek graduated from the Prague Conservatory in 2009 and continued her singing studies in the class of Lucia Fiori at the Conservatorio Statale di Musica “G. Rossini” in Pesaro, Italy. In 2015, she completed her master’s degree in opera singing with Prof. Daniela Broganelli and Prof. Lucia Fiori. She continues to improve her singing with Prof. Bojidar Nikolov in Vienna, where she lives permanently. In July 2011, she won the duet in the singing competition “Festival sotto le stelle” in San Giovanni in Marignano, with which she performed the same year at the Lago di Garda festival. In September 2012, she opened the 1st Jarmila Novotná Festival at the Liteň Castle with her singing. She is invited to concerts and performances in San Giovanni in Marignano (Italy) where she is cast in leading roles. She made her debut at the “A. Massari” theatre, in the leading role of Euridice from the opera “Orfeo ed Euridice” by Ch. W. Gluck. She regularly performs with pianist Norbert Heller, with whom she recorded and released a CD of chamber song work from the classicist period, including works by W.A. Mozart, F.X. Mozart and L. van Beethoven, and with organist Jaroslav Tůma.
