Sulzenko

Jiří Sulženko is a long-standing member of the National Theatre Opera in Prague, where he made his debut in 1991 as Leporello at the reopening of the Estates Theatre. From 2008-2013 he was a soloist at the Saarländisches Staatstheater in Saarbrücken. Since the 2012/13 season he has also been a soloist of the National Theatre Opera in Brno. He is still a soloist of the National Theatre in Prague. In addition to his work in these opera houses, he has been a guest artist at international venues such as Berlin, Darmstadt, Paris, Wiesbaden, Madrid, La Scala in Milan, Gothenburg, Monte Carlo, Luxembourg and An der Wien in Vienna.

He has collaborated with important conductors such as Charles Mackerras, Zoltán Pesco, Václav Neumann, Zdeněk Mácal, Ondrej Lenárd, Aldo Ceccato, John Eliot Gardiner, Leopold Hager, Jiří Bělohlávek, Pierre Bouleze, Simon Rattle and others. His concert projects have led him to collaborate with many orchestras in the Czech Republic and abroad (e.g. FOK, PKF, Czech and Slovak Philharmonic, Brno Philharmonic, SOČR, Stuttgarter Kammmerorchester, Jomuri Nippon Symphony Orchestra, New Jerey Symphony Orchestra, etc.).
