Anita Jirovská studied opera singing in Switzerland at HEMU in Lausanne and in the Czech Republic at Prague’s HAMU. Her master tutors were Hiroko Kawamichi in Lausanne and Helena Kaupová in Prague. After having finished her studies, Anita continues to attend private classes of Markéta Cukrová. Anita has debuted in Dorabella (Cosi fan tutte, W.A.Mozart) performed by Opera Studio Genève at Opera Festival in the French Samoëns. In the Czecho-Slovakian context, her first leading role was Santuzza in Mascagni‘s Cavalleria Rusticana performed in the State Theatre in Košice. In 2017 she has portrayed Anne Frank in the monoopera The Diary of Anne Frank (G. Frid). Last year she added the role of Rusalka (A. Dvořák, Rusalka) to her debut. She has worked with the Grand Théâtre de Génève, the National Theatre Ostrava, the Opava Theatre, the Plzeň Theatre, etc. He regularly performs in the concert repertoire.
