Kozderka Ladislav

Ladislav Kozderka studied at the Brno Conservatory (prof. Bedřich Dvořáček) and continued his studies at the Prague Academy of Music and Performing Arts (prof. Václav Junek). In 1994-1995 he was the trumpeter of the Prague Chamber Philharmonic Orchestra, in 1998-2001 and 2002-2009 he was the principal trumpeter of the National Theatre Opera Orchestra in Prague. From November 2008 to 2021 he served as principal trumpeter of the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra. From 2009 to 2012 he taught at the International Conservatory in Prague. As a soloist he performed at the Prague Spring Festival 2002 (Brandenburg Concerto No.2 in F Major, J. S. Bach), under the baton of M. Rostropovich he performed the Concerto for Trumpet and Piano by D. Shostakovich, etc. He is also involved in contemporary music as a member of the Ostrava Band. 

Since 2011 he has been a regular guest in Japan as a teacher, soloist and chamber musician.
