Schola cantus gregoriani

Founded in 2013, Schola cantus gregoriani is a vocal ensemble aiming at authentic interpretation of traditional Gregorian chant. Apart from plainchant their repertoire also includes early forms of heterophony and vocal polyphony. They occasionally explore new ways of interpretation by connecting chant with instruments or mixing musical styles. The schola is led by Jan Lorenc, a graduate of Ecole du choeur grégorien de Paris and Université Sorbonne – Paris IV.
